WORK:
Program Co-Coordinator on Executive Board May 2017-May 2018 -As the University of Rhode Island Program Co-Coordinator, I managed over 100 college age students on the Tour Guide Team. In this position, I oversaw the team as a whole, as well as checked the teams' payroll and aided in scheduling the tours. I also managed interal and external conflicts as well as facilitate team bonding excercises. Rhode Island Lottery Announcer April 2016 - June 2018 -I also worked for the State of Rhode Island Lottery Commission at Twin River Casino as the live TV lottery announcer on WPRI Channel 12 News. While on the job, I tested the machines before and after each drawing to ensure the live drawing will be accurate. After testing the microphone, I was given the countdown to the live airing and I announced each number as they were selected from the machine. Social Media Marketing Intern May 2017 - August 2017 - At Technology Therapy Group in Providence RI I worked as the Social Media Marketing Intern for the summer of 2017. This experience allowed me to manage various social media platforms for different clients across the nation. I also was a content creator for social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Blogs. I audited for accounts and monitored social media analytics. Public Relations Coordinator on Executive Board December 2015 - May 2017 -I worked for the Office of Admissions at the University as the Public Relations Coordinator for the Tour Guide Team. I planned all of the Welcome Days & Open Houses as I managed over 100 college tour guides to ensure that over 1,500 visitors have a great tour of the University. I also managed the URI Tour Guide social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and updated them frequently. As a Tour Guide Team, we partake in philanthropy events. This part of my job was very rewarding because I planned the events in which the team participates in. The Fall 2016 semester we collected canned food items for the North Kingstown Food Pantry and we made and sent holiday cards to local soldiers. |
